  SEO Copywriting

Search Engine Optimization, abbreviated as SEO, copywriting is the technique of writing the readable text on a website in such a way that it targets specific search terms and it reads well for the website visitor. SEO copywriting is pursued for securing high ranks in the search engines for the targeted search terms.

SEO copywriting also facilitates the optimization of other on-page elements such as headings and alt text, descriptions and keyword tags, and the title, for the targeted search terms.

As content pages and not ‘doorway pages’, the additional pages that are created for achieving high rankings, are liked by search engines, the odds of your website with SEO copywriting of achieving higher ranking will be greater.

250 visible words, per page with one or at most two targeted search terms placed within the text and other on-webpage elements strategically, are recommended by both the practitioners and mentors of search engine optimization copywriting.

Although Search engine optimization copywriting tends to do well across the search engines in terms of higher rankings, it works for suitable search terms and suitable websites only.

Many practitioners of SEO copywriting sometimes say that the method makes the website’s position stable at the higher rank than other search engine optimization techniques as the engines change and tweak their algorithms. This, however, is not true. Suppose, there are two pages on the top 10 search results; one getting their by the SEO copywriting and the other by another SEO technique. They both are there because they match the engine’s algorithm enough. And if the algorithm is changed, each of their rank will change. In the light of this, it is safe to say that it is a matter of chance and not of whether SEO copywriting was used or not.
