With the object of promoting an idea, a person, an opinion, or a business the process of writing a piece of literature is known as copywriting. The piece of the literature may be used as a television, plain text, or radio advertisement or it may be used in a variety of other media such as internet, theatre or newspaper. Making the reader or listener persuade to act i.e. to ascribe or purchase a service or product is the main purpose of this type of promotional text or marketing copy.

To achieve higher rankings in search engines, the method of wording or writing for a website is referred to as content writing, which is a sub-classification of copywriting. Content writing is all about repetition and strategic placement of keywords and the keyword phrases on online pages. Search Engine Optimization, abbreviated as SEO, Copywriting is the result of the search engine algorithms getting smarter every day and SEO Copywriting is getting more and more for search engines and at the same time as for human visitors offering them readable and fluent content that is written in a manner that is pertinent to Search Engine Optimization.

Many believe that copywriting is the most demanding and creative branch of writing. You start with a writing software’s blank page on your monitor screen or a blank sheet of paper and you may have little time left to meet your client’s deadline.
